Response at every seat

Every seat, relative to the across-seats average

Uncorrected field: no EQ, no optimiser. A rigid rectangle with typical drywall damping, point subwoofers and point ears. It shows where the room puts peaks and nulls and how placement, delay and gain move them, not a measured level in a furnished room.

The chart

Each grey line is a seat. The shaded band is the range between seats. Red is the worst seat, bold is the average, and every curve is relative to it. The dashed markers are the room's axial modes, one colour per axis. The peaks and nulls land on them.

Try

Move the subwoofer: every seat changes. Add a second at the mirror position: the spread falls. Time-align at the reference seat: it rises again. Invert one: the cancellation flips. Lift one to the ceiling: the height modes change.

The Room Resonances Calculator gives the same room's modes and null positions.
